Bela Fleck & the Flecktones Concert
Great concert last night. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are amazingly versatile and play some awesomely cool music. Victor Wooten, the bassist, is the greatest I've seen or heard. He could freakin' play the thing with two hands, like it was a harp or somethin. Great time. Bela Fleck was at his best, a brilliant banjoist and folk/eclectic/jazz musician. The horn player (played the soprano, alto, and tenor sax, recorder, and flute) is astounding. Recommend this great group of 4 musicians to anyone who likes cool music and anything new and different. Bela did an awesome jam-session type-thingy where he played regular acoustic banjo for like 20 minutes. Here are some photos. Sorry, they didn't come out very good.

and of course he would be at his best while in kc, we are the center of the nation that is the most powerful in the world, hence translate it as the center of the world, why wouldn't u be the best u've ever been here
yay for the uptown as well, and how did you get that pic from the stage point of view
